U2's East Rutherford #1 setlist, 17/05

Tonight's setlist was marked by three notable elements: a performance of Original Of The Species after Mysterious Ways, a snippet of Please during Bullet The Blue Sky, and a second Vertigo after 40. At the end of 40, Larry did his concluding drumming and then launched into Vertigo, and the band came back for a second performance. This is only the second time a full version of 40 has been played in any position other than the final one, with the first instance occuring on 7 April 1987 in Houston.
