- U2 360° Tour 2009

Milan #1 Setlist

The show was very good and the crowd was especially enthusiastic. They already sang along with the soundcheck and applauded after every song.

During Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own, the fans who were in the stands opposite the stage had prepared a choreography which worked out really well. They held up signs of different colours that formed the words "HI BOB". It was an amazing sight and when Bono saw it, he waved to the people in the stands and seemed to be very moved, singing the middle part of the song with great effort.

For Original Of The Species, there was a string orchestra on stage to support the band. They were seated on both b-stages with eight musicians on each stage. This is only the third time Original Of The Species has been played in Europe.

Unfortunately, it was difficult to take any good pictures because the lightning was very weak. The photos we got are available here.
