Tonight's show had the same setlist as yesterday's and was again filmed. The crowd was very enthusiastic again, singing along to Edge's guitar and keyboard parts as they had already been doing yesterday (imagine a whole stadium singing the keyboard melody to New Year's Day and you get an idea of what the atmosphere in San Siro was like). Bono pulled a girl on stage during All I Want Is You and they danced ring-a-ring-a-roses, with all Italian men staring happily in fascination.
Photos of the show are available here. As was already the case yesterday, the lights were very low, so it was again difficult to take decent pictures. We talked to a technician today who explained us that they keep the lights down at 15-20% of the normal intensity in order to make screens, band and audience all evenly lit for the filming.
Interesting side note: Some banners people had put up on the stands disappeared before the show started. Among them was one that said "Who is Bob?", another one that complained about tickets (something like "U2 TKTS - What a shame") and one that showed Bono as pope. Some of them can be found in our gallery.
