Twenty-five years and a day ago, U2 performed in Buffalo the day John Lennon was murdered. The set from that Buffalo show is unknown, but today's show included a number of Beatles and Lennon references. Severe snow in Boston threatened U2 from even flying to Buffalo, but they managed to fly out of Logan Airport a few hours later than intended and arrived in Buffalo just ninety minutes before the concert. Despite the delay, U2 did not choose to abbreviate their setlist - in fact, The Ocean was played for the first time in over a month.
