Report from Brisbane, 03/11

It's actually the morning of 04/11 here in Brisbane now, but I felt an update about yesterday's happenings was in order. The band did not rehearse outside yesterday; rather, they have been rehearsing inside a room at the Queensland Sports and Athletics Centre. U2 have been commuting between QSAC and their hotel on the Gold Coast via helicopter. A rumour doing the rounds is that they have extensively rehearsed The Saints Are Coming, a song by The Skids that they recently recorded with Green Day. However, we cannot vouch for the accuracy of this rumour whatsoever.

We understand that reports the band can only rehearse during business hours may perhaps be false. A member of U2's crew reportedly informed fans gathered outside QSAC that U2 will be rehearsing on stage from 2pm Sunday, and a full dress rehearsal will take place at some point on Monday night, but security around QSAC will be tight.
