After about three weeks of rest, U2 went back on the road today. Their North American leg begins with two concerts at Soldier Field. Over the previous two nights, the band have rehearsed there, and the most notable inclusion in the rehearsals is Your Blue Room. This song from the 1995 Passengers project has never been performed live before, but the band have extensively soundchecked it. However, rumour has it that the band aren't sure it's ready to be debuted live tonight, and that rumour proved true - the song was not included in the setlist.
The set was essentially the same as that played in the late stages of the European leg. Bishop Tutu's speech is still in its relatively new position before One. Bad was performed to close the main set. The full set was:
