Venue for Montreal concert confirmed
When the 2010 North American tour dates were announced about three weeks ago, no venue for the concert in Montreal on 16 July 2010 was given. After a considerable degree of online speculation, the venue has finally been confirmed. It will be the Hippodrome, often known as Blue Bonnets Raceway.
This marks a change from U2's previous stadium venue in Montreal. All three previous stadium gigs in the city have been held at the Olympic Stadium.
