U2 perform for fans at Istanbul airport

U2 have already arrived in Turkey ahead of their first-ever concert in the country on 6 September 2010. A large group of fans were waiting for the band when they landed at Atatürk International Airport, and U2 came out to meet them.

The band did not just sign autographs, though. Edge got out an acoustic guitar and performed an impromptu Desire with Bono. You can watch it and some other brief clips of the band's arrival in this video.

This is the first performance of Desire since its appearance in a medley on 23 September 2009. Its last individual performance was on 31 July 2009. It has, however, been soundchecked recently.
