NEW YORK, NY Wednesday Nov.24.2004 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- On Monday, November 22, U2 held a parade in New York City that ended with a free concert by the Brooklyn Bridge.

According to U2.com, U2's day began on the back of a 48-foot, flatbed truck, where the band's equipment had been set up for a video shoot. With the band aboard, the truck then drove through the streets of New York City and across the Manhattan Bridge. As the truck made its way through the Big Apple, U2 performed the song "All Because Of You" from the new album, "How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb." Bono also entertained the crowds with "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town."

At the end of the video shoot, directed by Phil Joanou, the truck delivered U2 to Fulton Ferry State Park, just north of the Brooklyn Bridge, where the band performed a free, 11-song concert for several thousand fans. The event was filmed by MTV and will be shown December 10 at 9 pm ET on "mtvJAMMED."
