Comments: First performance of New Year's Day since 3 October 2009; this is the earliest it has been in a setlist since 10 October 2001. Michael Stipe was in attendance, hence the REM snippet in Vertigo. Moment Of Surrender was dedicated to the victims of the Love Parade crowd crush and their relatives. When U2's 2010 European tour dates were initially announced on 24 September 2009, this was listed as the opening night of the leg. On 30 November 2009, it lost this status when the 6 August 2010, Turin gig was confirmed.
