Nice profile! Why isn't there camera info available?

These are from Yahoo news and these usually have no infos embedded. This is for sure a pro-SLR photo.

just wanted to know which type it was. Like the colors. My camera broke down (didn't survie Chicago afterall i gues) and i'm searching for another one.

Probably a EOS 1D. I think most concert photographers use one of these.

Yes these are quite expensive but also a cheaper SLR with good lens give the same results. I tried to get a photo pass for the 4th leg but as usual I'm ignored by band and managment ...

Matt? I can surprise you with the direct mail adres of THE U2 photographer ;-).. ask him! BTW: Thinking about a Konica Minolta D5 camera... half price now, 'cause there sold the knowledge to Sony

That one is way too large to sneak in. If U2's security spot you with that type of camera they take it away. That happend to the men next to me in Rome. If that size is possible I would take my Nikon D200 :)Thanks for the email address offer but probably it's better not to try that. Don't want to beg anyone anymore with my request. I tried the official way and they may have reason to deny a pass. The company seems not that much interested in fans work anymore. I'll get my photos anyway even with a smaller camera :)

I understand your opinion on beggin. I agree with that. My Minolta Dimage 5 was the reason i took position 10 feet from the stage, and stayed there for the concert. I had a lot of mad security watching me with that. Before the show i shot about 10 photo's to adjust the flash, and then hide the camera. During the show (see one of the first "face shots" from Bono, he stared at me with a look like "how the... did he get that one inside the elipse" gheghegheghe. Go for the D200. We'll wait for some new shots!
