It's been a busy night for Bono. After performing with U2 at the Brit Awards, he made his way to the Shepherds Bush Empire, where a concert was being held in support of the War Child charity. This show was co-headlined by The Killers and Coldplay; the former took the stage first, sometime after 11pm local time, and played a set of eight songs. After midnight, in the early minutes of the 19th of February, Coldplay began their set of eleven songs.
As Coldplay performed, Bono and The Killers hurriedly rehearsed backstage. The tenth song of Coldplay's set was a cover of Take That's Back For Good with Gary Barlow of Take That. Then for the eleventh and final song, Bono and The Killers joined Coldplay to play The Killers' hit
All These Things That I've Done. Brandon Flowers, Chris Martin, and Bono all shared vocal duties. This isn't an entirely new song to Bono, as he snippeted it in
Beautiful Day at both
Las Vegas concerts on the Vertigo Tour, but it is the first time he has participated in a full performance of it. Bono's wife Ali watched from the audience, as did Edge and his wife Morleigh.
