Remaining US dates re-confirmed with ticket sale dates

Update 08/04: The Raleigh, Norman, and Las Vegas general sale dates will be a week later than reported by Live Nation. See here for more.

Although the news is not yet on U2.com, Live Nation have published a press release that re-confirms the remaining US concert dates that were originally announced on U2.com back on the 9th of March and then removed without a word. All shows will take place on the previously announced dates except for the Norman concert, which will be held on the 18th of October rather than the 19th. The press release also includes interesting statistical information on tour ticket sales to date and is worth a look if you are interested in such details.

The concerts in Raleigh and Norman go on sale this Friday, 10 April on Friday, 17 April, with the other shows following soon thereafter. The re-confirmed shows, with general sale date in brackets, are:

· 2009-10-03 - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - Carter-Finley Stadium (10 April)
· 2009-10-12 - Arlington, Texas, USA - New Cowboys Stadium (20 April)
· 2009-10-14 - Houston, Texas, USA - Reliant Stadium (20 April)
· 2009-10-18 - Norman, Oklahoma, USA - Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium (10 April)
· 2009-10-20 - Glendale, Arizona, USA - University of Phoenix Stadium (20 April)
· 2009-10-23 - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - Sam Boyd Stadium (11 April)

No information is yet available on presales. We will update the site when this information is known, but those of you intending to use presale codes for the Raleigh, Norman, and Las Vegas concerts in particular should be prepared for presales to begin very soon at short notice.
