Rehearsals in Chicago, 11/09

U2 again rehearsed at Soldier Field today. Early in the evening, they rehearsed Your Blue Room, focusing on an intro featuring spaceship launch sound effects and the International Space Station astronauts. This was accompanied by rehearsals of City Of Blinding Lights, Vertigo, and a very short Desire sans vocals.

After a break, the band returned to the stage and continued to rehearse. They played:

- Breathe
- No Line On The Horizon
- Get On Your Boots
- Magnificent
- Beautiful Day / King Of Pain (snippet)
- I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For / Movin' On Up (snippet)
- Elevation
- Your Blue Room
- Unknown Caller
- Until The End Of The World
- Stay
- The Unforgettable Fire
- City Of Blinding Lights' intro; band then stop and have a discussion on stage
- Elevation's intro
- Your Blue Room again, more than one take

The band took another short break, and then returned to stage to rehearse:

- One from last verse, then Bono sang an Amazing Grace snippet
- Where The Streets Have No Name
- One from last verse again
- Amazing Grace snippet again after One, led into Streets' intro
- Your Blue Room another couple of times
- Edge started Unknown Caller's intro but was cut off; Bono thanked the neighbourhood.
