Today, U2 performed in Vancouver. This show wrapped up the second leg of the 360° Tour, and it is U2's last full tour concert for 2009. However, the band aren't totally done for the year, as their appearances at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame's
25th anniversary gig and at the
Brandenburg Gate are still to come over the next week.
Vancouver's setlist was essentially the same as that played at the previous four concerts. The only change was a minor one: between I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For and Stuck In A Moment, Bono sung Happy Birthday for Bill Gates, who turned 54 today. Also, Ultra Violet was not preceded by the Zoobaby intro that has been used since the Tampa gig on
9 October 2009. Instead, the intro was W. H. Auden's poem Stop All The Clocks, which had been used as the intro at concerts earlier on the tour.
Consequently, the full set for the last show of the tour's second leg was:
- Breathe
- Get On Your Boots
- Magnificent
- Mysterious Ways
- Beautiful Day / Blackbird (snippet)
- I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For / Stand By Me (snippet)
- Happy Birthday (for Bill Gates)
- Stuck In A Moment
- No Line On The Horizon
- Elevation
- In A Little While
- Unknown Caller
- Until The End Of The World
- The Unforgettable Fire

- Sunday Bloody Sunday

- Walk On / You'll Never Walk Alone (snippet)
Encore(s):
