One of the hottest rumours of the last month has been that U2 will perform in Pittsburgh in 2011. This rumour has now been confirmed on U2.com. U2 will perform at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh on 26 July 2011. This concert will be the final night of the 2011 North American leg of the 360° Tour, usurping the status of the 23 July show in Minneapolis.
Tickets for the Pittsburgh concert go on sale at 10am local time, 18 October 2010 via LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster outlets. U2.com subscribers will be able to participate in a presale that begins at 10am on Thursday, 14 October and runs until 3pm on Sunday, 18 October. If you are a subscriber, keep an eye on your e-mails for further details from U2.com. Ticket prices are the same as for previous shows, ranging between $30 and $250.
