Rehearsals in Vancouver, 28 April 2015

If you've been waiting for another update from U2's rehearsals at the Pacific Coliseum, U2FanPeter has delivered again to Interference.

Today he heard Mysterious Ways rehearsed by the full band - but, like on 360, it did not have the extended slide solo that characterised its live performances from 1992 to 2006. If I may editorialise here, it's not a complete performance of Mysterious Ways unless it has the slide solo!

Some fans have been wondering about Where The Streets Have No Name. Wonder no more, for it was rehearsed today. Ordinary Love also got a run by Bono and Edge, with Edge playing an acoustic guitar. During a rehearsal of Pride, Bono snippeted Stop! In The Name Of Love by The Supremes mid-song. This may just have been him fooling around.

For those of you playing along at home, the following old songs are known to have been rehearsed over the past week: Bad, Beautiful Day, Bullet The Blue Sky, City Of Blinding Lights, Desire, Elevation, Even Better Than The Real Thing, I Will Follow, Magnificent, Mysterious Ways, One Step Closer, Playboy Mansion, Pride, Running To Stand Still, Sunday Bloody Sunday, The Electric Co., Until The End Of The World, Where The Streets Have No Name, and With Or Without You.

What about the new stuff? Reports have suggested that possibly every song from Songs Of Innocence has been rehearsed. So far, those named individually by fans at the venue are Every Breaking Wave (full band and acoustic versions), Raised By Wolves, and The Troubles. Also rehearsed from the current era are Invisible and Ordinary Love.
