U2 Unforgettable Fire Tour
The Unforgettable Fire 5th leg: North America
Comments: This concert is the largest of the tour, with the band playing an open-air gig to 23,000 people. However, many people try to push to the front and due to the pressure, the situation becomes hostile. During The Unforgettable Fire, Bono explodes at members of the crowd who are fighting, bringing the song to an abrupt end. He then decides to play Pride to pacify the crowd, with it taking Wire's spot in the set. It is also performed later in the set in its usual spot. This is one of only two concerts to feature two performances of Pride; the other is a public dress rehearsal in Hershey, Pennsylvania on 7 August 1992.
