Comments: During their visit to Japan in November 1983, U2 appear on an unidentified Japanese TV show. Edge's guitar breaks down and he plays most of New Year's Day's guitar parts on piano. At the end of what was meant to be the guitar solo, Bono's timing is thrown off and the song's conclusion is improvised.
