Comments: U2 play at the Dandelion Market a second time. Edge is taken ill with suspected meningitis and cannot play, so the band begin as a three-piece with Bono on guitar. He struggles to do double duty and asks if anybody in the audience can play guitar. Joe Savino (of the Brown Thomas Band) volunteers, joins the band on stage, and plays a few numbers with them. Above setlist is obviously massively incomplete; the set may have included a Rolling Stones cover as well. Later in the day U2 play a second show in Cork; it is not known how the band resolve the guitar situation at that show.
