Comments: This concert is often listed as taking place on 24 August 1981. This is incorrect. The Greenbelt festival was 28-31 August 1981, and U2 played in the early evening of the 30th. Their appearance was squeezed in at the last minute and they performed with borrowed instruments and equipment.
