Tonight, U2 played their third and final Mexico City concert. This marked the final occasion on the 360° Tour that U2 played three consecutive concerts in one city. Earlier in the day, the band did a soundcheck that included New Year's Day, Zooropa, and City Of Blinding Lights.
All I Want Is You slotted into I Still Haven't Found's usual setlist position after Until The End Of The World. It was then followed by Love Rescue Me. For both songs, this is just their third performance on the 360° Tour, after appearing last year at the second shows
in Sydney and
in Perth. In the case of Love Rescue Me, these constitute its sole three performances since
10 January 1990.
The setlist also included the return of New Year's Day, which despite being a bit of a setlist warhorse and appearing 27 previous times on this tour, has only actually been played at
one of the eleven prior shows in 2011. Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me also rotated back into the setlist, but after a much shorter absence of just one gig.
