Comments: New Year's Day, U2's song about the Polish Solidarity movement, is especially played for its home audience. As the band play it, the audience becomes awash with red and white to make the colours of Poland's flag. Furthermore, Edge's birthday is in two days, and since there is no show on the 08/08, Bono takes the opportunity to sing tribute to him at this concert.
