Snow Patrol supporting U2

Snow Patrol have already been confirmed as an opening act at multiple 360° Tour shows in Europe, and now a blog post on their official MySpace has confirmed they will also play Zagreb, the second shows in Barcelona and Gothenburg, and three North American dates. Their support slot at the first Toronto show has been reported by the media for some time but this is the first confirmation from Snow Patrol's camp.

At present, Snow Patrol will support U2 at the following gigs:

· 2009-07-31 - Gothenburg, Sweden - Ullevi Stadion
· 2009-08-01 - Gothenburg, Sweden - Ullevi Stadion
· 2009-08-06 - Chorzow, Poland - Slaski Stadium
· 2009-08-10 - Zagreb, Croatia - Stadium Maksimir
· 2009-09-12 - Chicago, Illinois, USA - Soldier Field
· 2009-09-16 - Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Rogers Centre
· 2009-09-20 - Foxboro, Massachusetts, USA - Gillette Stadium
