Comments: U2 headline the last show of a two week "New Wave Festival" at the Project Arts Centre. Bono also performs a couple of songs with The Virgin Prunes during their support set. Patti Smith kicked off the festival a fortnight previously, and other bands that performed sets during the festival were The Vipers, Revolver, Berlin, and Sacre Bleu.
