U2's Baltimore setlist, 22/06
Today, U2 performed their first ever stadium concert in the city of Baltimore, and just their second ever gig of any sort after an arena concert there on 19 October 2001 (the only Elevation Tour show to feature a full band version of Please). Earlier today, the crew soundchecked Zooropa and City Of Blinding Lights, then U2 themselves soundchecked Mysterious Ways, The Fly, Even Better Than The Real Thing, and a song not performed live since 20 February 2006, 40.
The start of the setlist was similar to the new sequence debuted at the previous show, Anaheim 2, with four Achtung Baby songs performed in a row. This included The Fly, appearing for just the second time on the 360° Tour. These four songs were then immediately followed by I Will Follow. One and Streets, played at fifth and sixth in Anaheim 2's setlist, returned to their usual spots in the encore.
Later in the main set, I Still Haven't Found stuck around for a second show in a row (having previously not been performed since mid-May), while Stay returned after a single show absence. Surprisingly, the second encore began with Ultra Violet; the pattern this year has previously been for Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me to be played in cities with only one show. The last time Ultra Violet was played in a city with just one concert was on 30 September 2010 in Seville.
