Comments: Live debut of Pride. This is U2's first performance in New Zealand, and is in fact their first performance in the entire Southern Hemisphere. U2 had intentions to visit the Southern Hemisphere - as well as India - on the War Tour but were exhausted and instead only did a brief tour of Japan. This factor, as well as the band's lack of familiarity with material from the then soon-to-be released Unforgettable Fire album meant that setlists at the New Zealand and Australian shows were very similar to those from the War Tour.
