Bono playfully carries a white U2 banner given to him by a fan during April 10's Saddledome show, carrying it as if it were an enormous burden. He became notorious in the early '80s for waving flags at concerts (Darren Makowichuk, Calgary Sun).

This was the flag that my pal Tevy made for POP in Edmonton. We went to both shows in Calgary, and wound up front row, outside left of the heart. I think it was during 'Until the End of The World'. Bono Walked it to the tip of the heart and then dropped it. We actually were able to retrieve it after the show. I've got a few shots of Bono with the flag and one of us taken by the security guard. A Religious experience to say the least.
