Comments: About a minute into the first Vertigo of the night, Bono introduces The Edge, and Edge plays a snippet of Native Son on guitar for about ten seconds. The day before this gig, U2 rehearsed a complete show in the empty stadium. Unlike the rehearsal prior to the first leg in North America, no fans were allowed inside this time. Nonetheless, many heard the show from outside the stadium.

Soundchecked: 08/06 afternoon: Vertigo, Until the End of the World, Out Of Control, Elevation, Beautiful Day, Love And Peace Or Else twice, Crumbs From Your Table, Electrical Storm twice (though U2.com made a point of claiming Electrical Storm was never soundchecked!)
08/06 evening: Vertigo, Elevation, The Cry/The Electric Co., Beautiful Day, New Year's Day, City Of Blinding Lights (mainly instrumental), Miracle Drug, Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own, Love And Peace Or Else's intro
