Triny, please don't tell anymore about those Flicker-pics, I don't want to go and get lost there too, I'm already stucked in these sites... ;)...And this pic is unbelieveble lovely, I'm becoming more and more Adam-lover... Although bono still rocks but still...

From: Ingrid on 2005-10-24 13:42:31
oh susanne, I know... have you seen rattle and hum? that dvd really converted me into adam! during bad, and all along the watchtower.. the way he swings his bass and makes his funky moves... rawr!
From: Susanne on 2005-10-24 15:58:39
Yes, Rattle and Hum was the second thing I saw about U2 (after the Discotheque-video)... And I love it, there so many good songs in that, and of course they look hothothothot.... And Adam's bass swingins and funky moves... *Susanne gets lost in Adamland*
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-24 17:10:17
well the first thing I remember seeing from u2 is also discothéque... but the first sounds I remember... I don't know, but the song Hold me, thrill me, kiss me, kill me rings a bell.,.. the first time I heard it this year(i saw the vid online) I was like.. I know this song...... does anybody know from wich year it is? I thought it was fromm 95, but it's not on passengers...
From: Susanne on 2005-10-24 17:31:09
I think it's from 199 or something like that, and it is a soundtrack of "Batman forever" movie... And I love that song!!!!
From: Susanne on 2005-10-24 17:31:39
...from 1995 I ment...
From: Laura on 2005-10-24 17:43:22
Yup, it was released in June 1995 (Promo single in May)
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-24 17:43:57
then why wasn't the song on passengers :S I really love that song!
From: Susanne on 2005-10-24 17:52:21
Ok, I feel like a total idiot now, but what...is...Passengers??? Is it a album? Why haven't I seen it anywhere? And when I read your old comments here, I found one of Fanny's, where she had collected some Larry-quotes, and in quite many of them Larry was saying that he didn't like about Passengers very much. What is it??? Arrrggghhh...
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-24 17:56:11
Passengers: Original soundtracks 1 is an album made by Bono Adam Larry Edge and Brian Eno... it's not a real u2 album.. Miss sarajevo is also on it... and it's a very rare album... it's not real u2 but people consider it as part of a u2 collection... I like it, the songs are relaxing.. all moviesoundtracks, some are instrumental... I cant find it here in dutchieland, so when I saw it in italy, I bought it imediately!
From: mariëtte on 2005-10-24 17:58:54
Your blue room on passengers is so great! I love that song and of course Miss sarajevo, it's the long version I think, because on best of 90 - 00 it's shorter. Also, the first song on the album, I forgot the title, is really wierd but so good!
From: Susanne on 2005-10-24 18:03:47
Ok, thanks Ingrid... If it is so good as you girls are saying, I suppose I have to start watching around, who knows, maybe I could find it..
From: mariëtte on 2005-10-24 18:12:14
Well, Passengers is good, but at my opinion, every other album by U2 is better then passengers, but eventhough it's good.
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-24 18:27:05
that would be United Colours Mariette... also you can't compare it to a u2 album, since it isnt a u2 album ^^ also I can't give an opinion about best and worst albums,, since I haven't got them all yet.. still missing Boy, October, Unforgettable Fire,(and Under a blood red sky, Rattle and hum and the name I can't remember of the live one between UF and JT... )
From: Susanne on 2005-10-24 20:06:24
Is there a live-album between them?
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-24 20:14:04
YES I can remember now, wide awake in america.. it's an ep! containing BAD LIVE!!!!
From: Susanne on 2005-10-24 20:57:00
Noouuuu help... I don't wanna lose this cool looking B and cuddlylooking Adam yet...
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-24 21:02:30
well if you ask me, adam is looking a bit toooooo nice to B if you get what I mean.... ^^ also I think he's looking at Bs lips! adam adam adam? what are you thinking?????
From: Susanne on 2005-10-24 21:50:05
Well isn't it obvious, I mean, what are you thinking while watching bono's lips??? Hähää ;)
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-24 21:52:17
hmmmm how bout thinkin of a way to touch them with your fingers/lips?
From: mariëtte on 2005-10-25 18:09:17
that album is called 'wide awake in america', Ingrid.
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-25 18:51:13
yep I know, found that out... also atu2's album section says theres a mix cd aftert Zooropa called Melon.. have you ever seen that in the stores Mariette?? I havent!
From: mariëtte on 2005-10-25 18:54:29
Yes I heard of it before, but I thought it wasen't for sale, I read somewhere that Melon was for people who had U2 propaganda magazine, but I'm not sure about that.
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-25 18:59:04
ah the same story as with the live popmart cd... hmm too bad propaganda doesn't exist anymore.. I would have loved to be a member of it!
From: mariëtte on 2005-10-25 19:00:44
I have found where I read that:'Melon was an exclusive release given only to members of U2's fan club. It was packaged in an issue of the U2 fan magazine Propaganda. This remix album spawned a number of copycat bootlegs. Grape, Banana, Kiwi and Lime are just a few of the ones out there. The bootleg versions include edits of remixes, unofficial remixes and official remixes taken from various U2 releases through the years. At the time of release 4 of the tracks had never been released. Only the Soul Assassins remix of Numb has been released since'
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-25 19:17:17
u2 goes healthy! thee fruit album... hehehe it sure sounds fun!
From: U2TRINITY for Ingrid & Susanne. on 2005-10-26 08:55:37
Ok , girls first Hold me , thrill me , kiss me , kill me . is also on U2 Best of 1990- 2000.And Susanne if you don't have Passengers you probably don't have the soundtrack for The Million Dollar HotelA must have , it has beautiful sad songs. my favorite is Stateless. It's the soundtrack for Bono's movie...
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-26 18:19:55
woah triny, wich one is the soundtrack for million dollar hotel??? also, friday Gangs of New York will be on tv here!!! hehe Im gonna tape it... maybe Hands that built america is in it, ghehe and bono is said to be in it briefly right? or am I confusing this film with another... and I know Hold me... is on the best off... I got it from a friend who has that album..
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-26 18:20:23
and there's no song called stateless on my passengers album.. :S could there exist different versions?
From: Octu2 on 2005-10-26 19:02:29
You know Ingrid I think the song plays at the end of the movie if memory serves. It is a good movie though so it is worth the wait. I could be wrong though since I saw it awhile back.
From: Susanne on 2005-10-26 20:57:53
Hmmm.. Only song I know from Million Dollar Hotel is "the ground beneath her feet" and I like it very much... Is it a good movie?
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-26 21:01:58
yeah I thought the same susanne, but that song isn't on passengers either:S
From: U2Trinity on 2005-10-27 08:34:14
The Million Dollar Hotel is a movie, Bono andNicholas Klein wrote the Screen play together . The movie has a soundtrack with 5 songs from U2 and others the 5 are 1. The Ground Beneath her feet 2. Never Let Me Go 3. stateless4.Falling At Your Feet 5. Dancin' Shoes . It also has A U2 song from Zooropa called The First Time .. all very beautiful sad songs .. the CD soundtrack is called The Million Dollar Hotel...
From: mariëtte on 2005-10-27 12:52:45
oh! The ground beneath your feet is soooo beautiful I adore that song!
From: Susanne on 2005-10-27 18:58:02
Thanks Triny! Maybe I should go and try to find that movie, I'm bit curious... And I would love to have those songs... And yes Mariëtte, I like that song too veeeery much, that part where bono kind of like does a little yelling is my favourite.... And of course Rushdie's lyrics are very beautiful. Beautiful, sad song.
From: Soulcatgirl on 2005-10-27 19:32:49
Susanne the album soundtrack is very beautiful and the movie is sad too... Alot of people didn't like it including Mel Gibson but I liked it..... Bono is in it for a second ... and in the DVD extras....:))
From: mariëtte on 2005-10-27 19:34:06
Why didn't the people like the movie, because of Mel Gibson?
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-27 19:35:33
*sniff* I've never seen that movie, nor did I hear the soundtracks... :(I should DEFINATELY stop watching rattle and hum... the more I see it, the more it converts me to Adam!!! in the sunday bloody sunday part... he looks soo cool, holding his bass until he is allowed to play, then playing vera funky.... *sigh* what to do, what to do?
From: mariëtte on 2005-10-27 19:39:15
Oeh! I think it would be really cool, if you start to like Adam more and more..by the way..who prefers Adam above Bono, larry and The Edge? Wouldn't it be cool to have someone who does?
From: Susanne on 2005-10-27 19:40:41
Errrr Ingrid, you just stick in Bono and I keep Adam, okej????
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-27 19:41:16
I read aboutt that on the elevation pcis... can't remember who, soulie prolly knows.. also I am now playing the rolling stone intervieuw and oct was right!!! his voice really sounds raspy, and not very good!!!!:(
From: Susanne on 2005-10-27 20:21:55
Errr Soulie, sorry my bad English, did you meant "Mel Gibson didn't like the movie" or "people didn't like the movie 'cause Gibson was there"?
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-27 20:27:17
mel gibson said it was a crap movie... and he and bono got in a word fight after that.. if I recall correctly
From: Susanne on 2005-10-27 20:53:07
Word fight??? Did they fight like in the magazine's columns or how??? Errr, isn't that bit childish....
From: Ingrid on 2005-10-27 20:53:52
I don't know the exact story, but mel was like it's a stupid movie or so and bono was like he's jsut recalling his own acting or os
From: U2Trinity on 2005-10-28 08:11:50
It's a strange movie but I like it and in the special features Bono and the director Wim Wenders discuss the film , I love watching with the directors comments one and a half hours of Bono talking .....
From: julio mencorr on 2005-11-29 14:09:03
hey does anybody know how many people can fit in the ellipse area if they play in a big stadium show????
