A few months later I joined Matthias in working on this site, saw U2 in Boston a couple more months later, then fast forward, here we are.
Luckily the power and Internet came back within a couple of minutes. I stayed up for hours listening to those songs. Simpler times, really.
Halfway through there was a huge thundercrack & my Internet died. I shouted “FUCK!” so loud I don’t know how I didn’t wake up whole house.
Turned out it was a friend telling me each song was going up online. This was summer in Queensland so a huge storm broke at the same time.
Who remembers HTDAAB leaking? I (Ax) was 17, I was just going to bed when my computer dinged & I decided to check who was messaging me.
